Let’s get one thing straight: Millennials aren’t “job hopping” because they’re flaky or indecisive. They’re doing it because they’re smart. They know that their labor is valuable, and they’re not going to settle for peanuts. It’s called the free market, baby… And in the free market, my labor is my product.

And you know what they say about products – they go to the highest bidder. So if you want my labor, you better be prepared to pay up. And if you can’t afford it, that’s not my problem. Maybe you were too cheap to pay for my labor, or maybe you just couldn’t afford it. Either way, I’m not going to work for you for less than I’m worth.
