If You Know What This Is, You Were Born in the Right Generation
Kids today will never know how easy they have it when it comes to taking pictures. In my day, you had to buy rolls of film, which was expensive, and carefully put the film in your camera without exposing too much of it to the sunlight (which would lead to that portion of the film being unusable).
And after you had taken a picture on your terrible cheap point-and-shoot camera, you had no way to tell if it was good until you took the film to a drug store or a camera shop and had it developed (which was also expensive). And it wasn’t until you got your pictures back that you realized that you had spent all that money just to get seven good pictures out of a roll of twenty-four exposures.
