Ho, Ho, Ho: The Wholesome, Inappropriate and Wild Requests Mall Santas Have Heard from Kids

This story is an unfortunate case of Santa being a little too real. Our storyteller’s son asked their local mall Santa for Thor’s hammer for Christmas. What do you know. Come Christmas, Thor’s hammer is sitting under the Christmas tree. Santa listened and gave him his dream gift! In an excited frenzy, our storyteller’s kid grabs the new present and throws it into the kitchen.

Gravity did its work. Dishes and glasses fell everywhere, shattering on the floor. Apparently, this little kid thought that receiving Thor’s hammer from Santa also meant that he got all of Thor’s magical powers. Alas, he is still a mortal human being without a magical hammer that comes back when thrown. Maybe he should ask for a boomerang next year.
