Ho, Ho, Ho: The Wholesome, Inappropriate and Wild Requests Mall Santas Have Heard from Kids

This parent took their kids to see Santa at the mall, and their nine-year-old threw them for a loop. He asked Santa for lightbulbs. That’s it. Now, he may or may not have been trolling Santa with this request. He’s nine, after all. A lot of kids stop believing in Santa right before or around that time.

Whether or not this was being earnest or not, it’s a pretty funny Christmas wish. Our storyteller says that Santa wasn’t expecting such a practical gift request. Overall, we think it’s a pretty bright idea. You can never have too many lightbulbs. Who knows when one of them will burn out and need a replacement?
