Whether she knew what she was doing or not, Vicki started an affair with Bloomingdale. However, he wasn’t happy about the situation and having to share her with another man – and decided to do something about it. He called Lamb and asked him to give Vicki a divorce – offering him a large amount of money.
It took some convincing, but Lamb agreed to give Vicki a divorce. Bloomingdale got what he wanted – to have Vicki to himself – and Vicki was finally free from her dangerous marriage. But at what price? She didn’t have an answer to that question.
