Taking It Out on Him
Marvin was attracted to men and didn’t look to pursue a romantic relationship with Vicki, but he adored her nonetheless. For a while, their living situation as friends and roommates worked well for both of them. They both liked each other, they were trying to work on getting better, and Marvin was showing Vicki with attention and affection.
However, Vicki was still struggling to make ends meet, and she wasn’t used to having to rely on herself for money. She’s had men taking care of her for years, and she didn’t know what it meant looking out for yourself. Slowly, she started taking her frustration out on Marvin, and their relationship started to deteriorate.
