We all have our secrets… Yet, perhaps one of the most common and the most potent kinds of secrets are not our dirty, dark personal skeletons in the closet but the average day-to-day privacies that tend to be kept within the closed circle of people of the same gender, never to be revealed to the other. We think it’s time to explore some of the secrets held by the group known as men, the kinds of things that many of us feel deep down but don’t tend to share with our female friends or partners. Men – come along and see how many of these you hold by, and women – be prepared for a few surprises.
#1: Be Direct
It’s not only women who tend to tip-toe around sensitive subjects or annoying requests. Many of us find it easier to ask for things in a gentle, roundabout way, trying to relieve some of the annoyance with which they might be received or else allay our own fears of rejection.
However, what many women don’t know is that when it comes to men, at least, the direct course is usually a much better option. If we feel we’re on solid ground and understand what’s being asked of us, then we can freely say yes or no, and nine times out of ten, we’ll say yes.
