Amusing Times People Didn’t Know What Life Had in Store for Them

As adults, it’s super awkward to ask anyone for their autograph without seeming like a jerk. Kids can get away with it while looking innocent and adorable, as kids get away with almost anything. This dad was certainly working his greatest asset: a loyal son. I’m sure that autograph was highly treasured for a long time.

For those of you who don’t know, Larry Bird is considered one of the top basketball players of all time, with some seriously questionable nicknames, like “the Hick from French Lick” and “Larry Legend.” This memorabilia probably meant a lot more to this dad than it did to his 10-year old son, who probably couldn’t even appreciate it at the time. He was just a kid, after all.
